When I was approached by musicians Casey Cuff and Core Bannister about a new startup dealing with the burgeoning cassette market, it was an enthusiastic ‘YES!” to have the chance to work with them.

Calling themselves Tarantula Tapes, they started up with a few musical projects ready for release. They needed a reliable production artist from the first album to help with the artwork for each cassette and case.

Starting with a few layouts, I built templates based on specs from the case and cassette manufacturer, which are used for every release. This ensures consistency with collateral and the final product output. Occasionally contributing layout and design to selected projects, I also created some layouts using supplied photos or concepts offered by the bands.
